H2 takes over Show Me Games!

For H2 15 Cardinal and H2 15 Development, it was the last time these special group of girls would be on the court together before their high school seasons begin. It was evident that they weren’t going home without some hardware.  The Cardinal team, led by outside hitter Ely Freesmier and Setter Maggie Whealen, went through pool play only dropping one set all day.  The Development team was just as successful dropping only one set in pool play.  Both teams had hard playoff battles against ranked teams before meeting up in the championship to play one another.  It was a hard fought battle, but the Cardinal team came out on top.  “I didn’t care who won.  I know that it could have went either way.  We have very talented girls on both teams.  Our upcoming 16s program will be very strong this club season.  I was just happy that the girls represented H2 Saint Louis in such a great fashion” said 15s Cardinal coach Michael Loyd.  “This was an amazing tournament for the girls especially for it being the first time that 15 Development were on the court together.  It gives me a lot to look forward to for the coming season” said 15s Development coach Deb Charlton. Great Job Ladies!  Hubba Hubba!
