FINANCIAL COMITTMENT SUMMARY DETAIL
For the 2023-24 season, the following will apply for participation:
Club sport participation requires substantial time & financial commitment. To encompass a variety of commitment levels, H2 Sports Worldwide was one of the first of the large clubs in the country that structured team costs independent of other teams within the club. This allowed for a greater number of athletes that had commitments outside of volleyball, including dual sport athletes, to participate during the club volleyball season based on condensed or expanded scheduling. As a result, cost will vary amongst teams based on variables associated with the team’s overall activity and length of season as well as experience of the coaching staff.
Average total costs per player can range from $800-$2,500 per season.
FEES PAID DIRECTLY TO H2 SPORTS WORLDWIDE
Only a portion of the overall cost to play for the season is paid directly to H2 Sports, which serve to cover general expenses of operation, which includes, but not limited to gym rental, custodial fees, marketing, social media, district overhead, insurance, 1-2x per week team practices through April, a limited number of tournaments, including local as well as multi-day qualifying events.
EXPENSES PAID DIRECTLY TO VENDORS, COACHES, TOURNAMENT HOST AND OTHERS:
Coaches Stipend: Coaches are technically volunteers, however most teams throughout the country believe it necessary to provide some type of stipend to ensure the coach is not burdened in their effort to provide high level training and direction. Depending on the experience and number of coaches on the team, that number, determined by each individual coach, can range in total from $0 to $800 per player.
Coaches Travel: H2 believes it is important to reimburse coaches for their travel with the team to major tournaments and events. H2 attempts as much as possible to participate in tournaments that are of drivable distance, but can’t guarantee this will be the case for all teams. Such expenses may include hotel stay, airline expenses, car rental & gas, mileage reimbursement, meals, and incidentals. Parents will be billed directly by their teams coach for anticipated or actual travel expenses associated with each trip. Local travel is not considered a part of this calculation for reimbursement purposes.
Tournament Entry Fees Additional: Tournaments more than those listed in your initial budget including additional qualifiers, out-of-town and post-season tournaments will be billed separately and paid directly to whoever sets those up.
Recruiting Tools Utilization Per Player: Requires full team participation. HUDL ($200.00), Sports Recruits ($75) Field Level,
Player Uniforms– Uniforms are ordered and paid for through Soccer Master Average uniform costs are around $250 per player.
Player Gateway Membership – ($15) This will be paid through Sports Engine by each member at the time of region registration, usually occurring mid-August for High School and Late October for 14 and younger.
Club Fee Refund Policy: Your commitment to play means that another player did not get to join the team. All expenses incurred are based on team-related planning. We understand that circumstances change, therefore, we offer a 50% refund of fees paid to H2 if a player chooses not to continue before December 15, 2023. If a player chooses not to continue participating after January 1, 2024, there will be NO REFUNDS.
Additionally, If a player leaves the club or decides to not play any longer, we may without notice, delete all videos and recruiting information from our accounts.
