Assistant Coach of the Girls 2008 USAV Gold National Champion 13u Team Joins H2 Coaching Staff!

St. Louis, Mo. — H2 Saint Louis Club Director, Geoff Davis, announced today that Carl Darby, one of the St Louis areas most successful USAV coaches, will be on the sidelines this season at the helm of the H2 15 Black National Team. “For six years, Carl has proven himself to be one of the most feared competitors across the net when it comes to getting his kids ready for a match.  I could not be happier to have his skills and talents on our side of the net this season,” Davis stated.

Darby brings USAV national championship experience with him as well as guiding his teams to top 10 finishes in the region for four consecutive years.

“I love this game, and am excited about the opportunity to continue helping athletes achieve their goals.  ‘Success In Life Through Volleyball’ is the mission of H2 Saint Louis.  Being a part of building that foundation is exactly the goal I intend to carry onto the court this season and beyond. I am confident that my team we will be in the hunt for a national championship run this season,” Darby states.

Darby started coaching USAV volleyball in 2004 after a successful high school and college volleyball career. He is both IMPACT certified and serves as a MHSAA certified Referee.

For complete details and contact information, visit Darby’s online bio page.

Our final goal this season will be to find developmental coaches at the 12s, 13s & 15s level.  We are almost there!  If you know someone that would be interested in coaching, please see our online application on our website www.h2saintlouis.org.
